What length friction stay do I need?
Roughly two-thirds of the sash height, then confirm against the stay’s load table for the sash weight. We keep the common sizes in stock.
Side-hung or top-hung stay?
Depends on the opening direction and where the handle sits — send the elevation and we’ll confirm.
Stays for heavy double-glazed sashes?
Yes — heavy-duty and egress stays for DGU sashes.
